Trauma Brain

Shame changes everything I see
A view that is doomed
Amongst all other things 
The danger upon me
It feels undeniably real
Always impeding my stride
Numbing off my sense to feel
On my bed and lightheaded
Play back the memory tapes
Waking up from another nightmare
Trauma does not go away.
